Natural Hair Update!

My natural hair is Kinky... Its a thick Mass of spongy hair and I LOVE it!





It is what people in the natural hair community describe as 4b hair. Hair typing ranges from type 1 (usually straight caucasian hair) to kinky textures like mine.

I'll be honest and say my hair is not always a pleasure to manage and Im incredibly jealous of those with wake up and go hair! That aside, I adore it! I'm a lover of big hair curly, straight whatever, as long as its voluminous, I'm content. As you can see my natural hair is just that... huge!

It's short right now because I had to chop it all off about 6 months ago due to heat damage (watch the video here) but I cant wait till my hair gets much longer. I think it will look incredible (*fingers crossed* *stares at the sky imploringly*) My goal is to have hair like Beyonce's backing dancer Kimberly Gipson. Show stopper!

Music Meets Runway 2012

I am in Lagos guys...so excited! The first event I attended was Music meets Runway on 24 December 2012. Deets below.

Music meets runway is an event which combines Fashion and music! Guests were entertained by artists like wizkid and Naeto C whilst models showcased various designers on the catwalk.

Holiday Style: Fringed Dress - Outfit 2

I saw this dress in Phase Eight and knew I HAD to have it!

It is gorgeous, classy and fun! The fringed detailing gives it a flapper vibe that I think is perfect for fancy christmas parties.
I don't think this is a 'club' dress, definitely not in fact! It would be perfect for date night or an uber fancy night out!

I kept accessories to a minimum and kept the shoes muted so the dress can shine!

Holiday Party Looks: Outfit 1

Hi Everyone!

Apologies for the lack of posts recently, I must confess my work life is currently owning every aspect of my life right now, Im so busy!

However my favorite dress up season is here again... PARTY dress time! Whether its for the christmas party or the new year, I always enjoy dressing up and I had sooo much fun creating the lookbook video embedded below. Please let me know if you liked it!

In the meantime, here is the first of my holiday party choices - The Little Black Playsuit. Comfy, sexy and easy to work. I especially love the tassels at the back, so unexpected!I teamed it up with bright pops of gold to make the outfit a little less monochrome and more festive.
