Park Guell in Barcelona - A MUST SEE!

I didn't know what to expect when the concierge told us to visit Park Guell and reserve 4 to 5 hours for getting round the park. I thought that was a long time, but goodness, it was no where near enough! 

 Park Guell is spectacular! Designed by Antoni Gaudi,  its a massive park set on a hill with loads of interesting architectural structures and beautiful greenery, and I'm not going to talk about the incredible view, check it out yourself and see why UNESCO has designated the Park a world heritage site!

Oh and do you like my photography skills? loving my new camera :-) Now if only I can figure out how to stop my pictures looking blurry on this blog I'd be a happy girl!

Barcelona OOTD - Visiting Park Guell

I'm a get up and go person, especially when I'm on holiday so as soon as we landed in Barcelona, I hustled my friends out of our apartment in the Las Ramblas to visit the spectacular Park Guell designed by Antoni Gaudi. Its the most amazing park I have ever seen! More pictures to come in the next post.

In the meantime, here are the details of my outfit of the day. I kept it quite simple as I knew we were going to be climbing up hills and generally doing a lot of walking.

Chambray Shirt - Topshop
Skirt - Zara 
Tights - Marks and Spencer - I love their tights! Im quite tall so I always get the extra large because they don't fall down like my actual size would do. It was also a bit cold in Barcelona that day so I didn't want to risk a bare legged outfit!
Ballet Pumps - Next - amazing quality, I run though ballet pumps like nothing else and I was pleasantly surprised to find these way more sturdy than my usual Primark disposables.
Chain detail bag - this is my trusty Zara bag, I love it so much! I'm scared of running it to the ground but its served me well for over a year now!
Reflective sunglasses - Primark - serious steal at £2, compared to the Carrera ones I am still lusting after.

Paris - Day and Night - Video

So I created a mini outfit of the day and night video on my Paris outfits for my youtube channel and thought I'd share it here too... enjoy the serene Parisian music and flashing eiffel tower lights lol!

I was only in Paris for one full day but the next stop is Barcelona, so more outfit posts and lookbooks to come!

 

The Beaded Little Black Dress: Paris Clubbing Outfit

 I'd been saving this little black dress from H&M for my next time at the club and it turned out to be in Paris. They say every girl needs an LBD in her wardrobe and this might just be my 2013 version, it would be super boring black but the Aztec style beading makes it stand out, plus it was only £15! We went to a club called Duplex as one of my favourite clubs L'arc was closed for some reason but it turned out to be a fun night! If you are in Paris, I'd recommend checking it out. Its not as fancy as L'arc but the music is great!

I'm on HOLIDAY!

Paris is my favorite city in the world but sadly I started off the day in a foul mood, which is clearly evident in my my outfit pictures. I was super stressed out, we almost didn't make it to Paris and it took a little while for me to snap out of my annoyance. Unusually for me, I wasn't even in the mood to pose for pictures or smile for anything! Imagine that!

Thankfully, I snapped out of it by the end of the evening and a grin was plastered on my face the whole time! :-D

I love stacking up basic tshirts because they are perfect for those days when you cant be bothered to dress up and when I saw this shirt in h&m, I just had to get the white one too! 

This is what I wore last sunday for a spot of shopping and dinner. Took me about 5 minutes to dress up!

My Holiday Haul!

Hello! I've missed my blog for the short while I was away. Life got in the way a bit and I needed time out to "get my mind right" as they say! All is good now and I'm so excited for my upcoming holiday next week! I'm off travelling around Paris, Barcelona and Ibiza with some of my oldest friends from school and I cant wait!
