Barcelona OOTN: Casual Clubbing Outfit

Do you have one of those nights when you have to go out but you really cannot be bothered to dress up? 

My friend really wanted to go to a hip hop night in Barcelona called Jamboree but to be honest, I was so tired I just wanted to cosy up in bed with a mug of earl grey and watch spanish tv. I decided to 'take one for the team' but I could only muster up enough energy to put on this off shoulder white t-shirt from Zara, high waist vintage shorts and a plain pair of single strap heels also from Zara. Yes, I couldn't resist buying the red sandals in a different colour! Shame on me lol.

Anyway, you really cant go wrong with a casual white top and jeans combo on lazy days, and I thought the outfit was pretty decent for a night out on the town! I jazzed it up a little with my chunky gold and black necklace from Primark - that's it, good to go!

Anyone else have an 'I-can't-be-bothered-tonight' outfit? I need to stock up on those!

Paris - Day and Night - Video

So I created a mini outfit of the day and night video on my Paris outfits for my youtube channel and thought I'd share it here too... enjoy the serene Parisian music and flashing eiffel tower lights lol!

I was only in Paris for one full day but the next stop is Barcelona, so more outfit posts and lookbooks to come!

 

Holiday Outfit: Paris in the day

I'm on HOLIDAY!

Woopie! 

Paris is my favorite city in the world but sadly I started off the day in a foul mood, which is clearly evident in my my outfit pictures. I was super stressed out, we almost didn't make it to Paris and it took a little while for me to snap out of my annoyance. Unusually for me, I wasn't even in the mood to pose for pictures or smile for anything! Imagine that!

Thankfully, I snapped out of it by the end of the evening and a grin was plastered on my face the whole time! :-D

Outfit of the Day: The Backless Tshirt

I love stacking up basic tshirts because they are perfect for those days when you cant be bothered to dress up and when I saw this shirt in h&m, I just had to get the white one too! 

This is what I wore last sunday for a spot of shopping and dinner. Took me about 5 minutes to dress up!

Casual Outfit of the Day - Running round the Intercontinetal

I love it when my friends are in town! My friend came over from the states this weekend so this is what I wore to visit her at the Intercontinental. I don't know why I look so mad lol, I was very happy in fact! 

Anyway, my dress was one of my latest finds from Forever 21. I love how casual it is, it is a loose jersey material so feel free to pig out wearing one of these. I loved it so much I got it in black too - I hardly ever do that.

You can find the dress here - I couldn't find the grey or black one on the Forever 21 website but the Teal and Tomato would be nice for when the weather gets warmer

A wintery Outfit of the Day

My winter style is usually very simple. I just like to be warm hence why you'll usually find me in a jumper and jeans combo unless im going out out. I was still at the Grove here so there was no need to dress up!

Work Outfit of the Day - Monochrome

I'm not really a skirt or trouser suit type of girl, I dont think the latter look as feminine or flattering at work, and I don't mind the former but I see no need to wear skirt suits to the office because my firm is very chilled out. From what I've gathered on youtube that might not be the case for similar top law firms out there. Either way, I'm thankful! this is one of my smarter work outfits, I had to see clients that day so I decided to dress up a bit more formally!

Back to School OOTD: Distressed Denim and Gold

This was my go to fashion style at Uni, its very easy to throw on in a rush. I also kept my face simple as I usually never had time for elaborate make up!

I went to Uni up north in England where it is usually quite cold so a jumper or something else to keep warm is often a necessity.

This outfit is somewhat of an Ode to Topshop, my old employer, Most of my clothes are still from there and Its my absolute favourite store! Next to Zara of course

How do you guys dress for school? I had girls in my class who would turn up in stilettos looking like full on glamour pusses at 9am. They looked gorgeous! But the above is the best I can do for class at that time!

I literally there this outfit on as I ran some good daughter errands on Sunday. My favourite thing about structured blazers is that they can glam up any outfit. I think it adds a little something to my otherwise uber casual outfit of a run dmc t-shirt and old shorts!
