Finally - My Summer Lookbook Video!

I always feel such a sense of accomplishment when I've finished creating a lookbook video, its great to see how the outfits come alive! It's very different vibe from just looking at pictures on a screen don't you think? This is my summer lookbook showing all the outfits I wore during my recent stay in Ibiza. Lace and Tassels: My Cute Bikini Coverup!

When I know I am spending the whole day at the beach, the one thing I never forget to pack, other than my bikini of course, is my coverup. Plus, when the said day is going to be at Blue Marlin, one of the most glamourous yet laid back venues in Ibiza, you know both items have to be super pretty! For that reason, I specially designated this simple white bikini and tasselled cover up as my outfit of the day!

 

My bikini is another one from Beyonce's swimwear collection for H&M, I couldn't resist getting this plain white one in addition to the tie dye one I already had, and its so affordable I didn't feel bad about it either hehe. I really like the bandeau shape of the bikini top and it comes in a crochet pattern that you sadly can't see very well because its so dark! Get a better look here.

I was torn between getting the yellow one and the white version but looking back at it, I think I made the right decision. Or should I run back to H&M and see if they have the yellow ones in stock too? common, indulge me please! :-P

The cover up itself was from Primark, that store never ceases to amaze me with the treasures it hides, you just need to have patience!

  The girls and I all had different types of bikini cover ups, Ebie chose white crochet shorts over her monokini, while Frankie had this super cute backless dress! I wish I'd taken more pictures, it was adorable!

You might be pleased to know that my Ibiza holiday outfit round up is almost over - I'm certainly not *SOB*, but I'm currently editing a video lookbook that should be up within the next couple of days! :-) My last videos were on the outfits I wore during my Barcelona and Paris holidays, so please make sure you subscribe to my youtube channel, Allisbelle, to be updated when the Ibiza one goes up. My Tie Dye Bikini: Beyonce for H&M Swimwear

I was blown away by how stunning Beyonce looked in her campaign as Mrs Carter in H&M, so naturally I just had to HAVE one of her bikini sets for my trip to Ibiza! I was immediately drawn to the green tie dye print as bright colours tend to look nice contrasted against my skin. Plus each piece was only £3.99! So if you are like me, and tend to buy a bikini for each day of your holiday, check out H&M, I definitely think they have the best swimwear for their price range, compared to sayyy, Primark? I like to mix and match my swimwear so I got the two sets from the picture above, but now I wish I got the sarong and Maxi dress too! The tie dye print is the best thing about this bikini, the colour is so vibrant, the print looks near identical to the colours of the Mediterranean sea behind me, don't you think? It was the perfect bikini for a perfect day on Formentera island. For my cover up, I flung the white shirt

Evening Glamour: The Grecian Maxi Dress

There is something about a beautiful maxi dress that has a way of making one feel graceful and elegant, in my case this maxi dress from Topshop also makes me feel very sexy but in a classy way! I love that it has a cutout detail and the all important thigh high split. Importantly, it is also very comfortable! Which is why I chose it to wander round Ibiza's old town.

We had landed from Barcelona earlier that day and were completely shattered but still wanted to do something that night, I mean, who wastes a day in Ibiza? We decided to stroll through the town and explore the amazing D'alt Villa, a castle in the heart of Ibiza town. In honour of visiting a former royal abode, I actually did my eye makeup this time, a green, black and gold smokey eye! Ive been considering doing a tutorial on this look... what do you think? Paired with the green maxi, I looked quite grecian! With the girlies :-) The view from the castle at night was spectacular. you must check it out if you are ever in Ibiza!

For the love of the printed dress!

You may have already realised that I love brightly coloured prints, and this summer dress from H&M was just perfect! Somehow, it always finds its way into my suitcase whenever I'm off on my holidays and it made a reappearance on a sunny day in Ibiza.

Aztec by the Marina: Ibiza Dinner Outfit

As soon as I saw this bodycon dress on the River Island display window, the bright colours and the aztec type print grabbed my attention and I knew I just had to have it! It is a sexy fit, snug in all the right places, midi length, and would be a perfect date dress!

Ibiza OOTD: The Perfect White Shirt

One of the must visit places in Ibiza is the beautiful white isle of Formentera, it is perfect for sunbathing (I obviously don't need a tan haha) and enjoying the breathtaking views of the blue sea. As we were spending the whole day at the beach I wanted something to throw over my bikini in case it got cold and this white shirt from Zara was absolutely perfect! Its light and airy and you can still see my bikini peeking through!

First of the vacation video lookbooks - Barcelona!

Every time I start editing a video, I tell myself I'm not going to spend more than an hour on it, which always, somehow turns into at least 4 times that much!

 Filmed a lookbook on all the outfits I wore in Barcelona, bar one day which was a shopping day, and I hope you like it! It has a mix of fashion and travel so you get to see my favorite parts of Barcelona including Park Guell and the Marina. I'd love your thoughts on the video, about to start editing my Ibiza video, lets hope I can stick to 2 hours this time!

Barcelona OOTN: Casual Clubbing Outfit

Do you have one of those nights when you have to go out but you really cannot be bothered to dress up? 

My friend really wanted to go to a hip hop night in Barcelona called Jamboree but to be honest, I was so tired I just wanted to cosy up in bed with a mug of earl grey and watch spanish tv. I decided to 'take one for the team' but I could only muster up enough energy to put on this off shoulder white t-shirt from Zara, high waist vintage shorts and a plain pair of single strap heels also from Zara. Yes, I couldn't resist buying the red sandals in a different colour! Shame on me lol.

Anyway, you really cant go wrong with a casual white top and jeans combo on lazy days, and I thought the outfit was pretty decent for a night out on the town! I jazzed it up a little with my chunky gold and black necklace from Primark - that's it, good to go!

Anyone else have an 'I-can't-be-bothered-tonight' outfit? I need to stock up on those!

That was our last night in Barcelona, my favorite bit of the holiday is up next! :-D
